The Brass Tacks Ensemble is looking for a permanent home in or near Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The CCC, 1600 Pauline, Ann Arbor, MI
For now we rent space at a variety of locations:
The CCC, located at 1600 Pauline Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI, will be the venue, as well as rehearsal space, for the upcoming spring and fall BTE shows.
Kerrytown Concert House, Ann Arbor, MI
The Kerrytown Concert House, located at 415 N 4th Ave., Ann Arbor, MI, has been the primary location for performances over the Brass Tacks Ensemble’s history. They will host our summer show.
Previous and potential future venues:
The Ann Arbor Civic Theatre‘s home/rehearsal space, located at 322 W. Ann St., Ann Arbor, MI. has hosted several performances, including Henry V in May of 2015.
The Riverside Arts Center, at 76 N. Huron St., Ypsilanti, MI, has been the home of several productions as well and may appear again in the future. It is a wonderful space.
The Performance Network in Ann Arbor, before it closed its doors, hosted the Brass Tacks Ensemble during our early years, when the now-defunct Treetown Performance Festival was in full swing.
Some rehearsals are held at Mechanical Simulation Corporation on the Southeast side of Ann Arbor. We thank Terry Rhoades (and his wonderful wife, ensemble member Anne Rhoades), for generously donating use of the space.
