The Brass Tacks Ensemble’s Play Reading Group – Tartuffe
March 26 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree
BTE also starts their 2019 season with a Play Reading Club.
Meeting every other Tuesday starting January 15 at 6pm, the club with gather in Isaac’s living room (see Facebook for the address — there is a cat) and read a public domain, classic-yet-rarely-produced, I-should-have-read-this-before play. All present will have an opportunity to read a character (or a few characters!), and discussion will focus on the BTE mission statement: Clarity, Universality, Entertainment, and the Essential Elements of the Theater.
The club will also rate plays during discussion for possible inclusion as a full staged reading in the Spring Festival to be produced by BTE.
