A PARK, A POLICEMAN AND A PRETTY GIRL
Thurs.-Sat., August 6-8, 2009 All shows 8:00 pm At the Kerrytown Concert House – 415 N. Fourth Ave.
Charlie Chaplin once wrote, “All I need to make a comedy is a park, a policeman, and a pretty girl.” The Brass Tacks Ensemble follows in the master’s footsteps and presents an evening of one-acts, each featuring–you guessed it–a park, a policeman, and a pretty girl.
Comedy, farce, slapstick, and even a touch of drama are all on tap in this night of original works by Isaac Ellis, Anne S. Rhoades, Rob Sulewski, and Elif Wisecup. The cast features Steve Elliott, Isaac Ellis, Chris Harrison, Anne S. Rhoades, Rob Sulewski, Rachel Robbins Toon, and Jamie Weeder.
